Our Occupational Therapists (OT’s) help your child develop skills to participate in everyday activities. We help your child to build confidence & independence to reach their potential.

Our OTs can help your child to:

  • Develop self- help skills like brushing teeth, getting dressed and using the bathroom
  • Improve fine motor skills to help with writing, drawing & other school ready activities
  • Reach developmental milestones
  • Develop social, emotional & cognitive skills by learning through play
  • Manage sensory experiences

Our Early Years Occupational service provides the best therapy & support for your child.

We will help your child to build their strengths by breaking down challenging activities into manageable steps. We can also assist with:

  • Home and environment modifications to help your child live as independently as possible
  • Selection, assessment and prescriptions for mobility equipment, such as a hoist, showerchair, and pressure relief mattresses
  • Quality assessments and comprehensive reports with recommendations
  • Training programs for parent/guardian, carer/support workers and educational staff

Families & carers can access our programs & services via:

  • The CLS Allied Health Centre
  • Your home (or preferred setting)
  • Your child’s school, kindy or childcare centre
  • Virtual appointments (Skype etc)

We are registered providers for:

  • NDIS
  • Betterstart
  • Helping Children With Autism (HCWA)
  • Medicare
  • Health Funds (HICAPS available)
  • Fee for service

The NDIS will use the following terms to describe the funding you can purchase for these services:

  • Improved daily living skills
  • Improved life skills
  • Assistive technology
