Our Occupational Therapists (OT’s) help your child develop skills to participate in everyday activities. We help your child to build confidence & independence to reach their potential.
Our OTs can help your child to:
- Develop self- help skills like brushing teeth, getting dressed and using the bathroom
- Improve fine motor skills to help with writing, drawing & other school ready activities
- Reach developmental milestones
- Develop social, emotional & cognitive skills by learning through play
- Manage sensory experiences
Our Early Years Occupational service provides the best therapy & support for your child.
We will help your child to build their strengths by breaking down challenging activities into manageable steps. We can also assist with:
- Home and environment modifications to help your child live as independently as possible
- Selection, assessment and prescriptions for mobility equipment, such as a hoist, showerchair, and pressure relief mattresses
- Quality assessments and comprehensive reports with recommendations
- Training programs for parent/guardian, carer/support workers and educational staff
Families & carers can access our programs & services via:
- The CLS Allied Health Centre
- Your home (or preferred setting)
- Your child’s school, kindy or childcare centre
- Virtual appointments (Skype etc)
We are registered providers for:
- NDIS
- Betterstart
- Helping Children With Autism (HCWA)
- Medicare
- Health Funds (HICAPS available)
- Fee for service
The NDIS will use the following terms to describe the funding you can purchase for these services:

- Assistive technology
