Our Speech & Language Pathologists are specialists who work with people of all ages who have communication or swallowing difficulties. These may include problems with speech, voice, using & understanding language, fluency, reading, writing, eating & drinking (dysphagia – difficulty swallowing).

Our Speech & Language Pathologists work with you, your family & carers, & other professionals to explore a wide variety of communication & swallowing therapies.

We can help with:

  • Speech
  • Fluency (how well speech flows)
  • Using & understanding language
  • Voice
  • Eating & drinking (for dysphagia – difficulty swallowing)
  • Reading & writing

We offer a range of Speech & Language services including:

  • Individual treatment
  • Small group sessions
  • Workshops
  • Classroom programs & teacher support
  • Providing resources & advice to families & carers

 

Our Speech & Language services are available at the Allied Health Centre located at the CLS Community Hub. We can also visit your school, home or workplace if required.

Self funding is welcome without a referral. Medicare, DVA or Private Health Insurance may be used as full or partial payment and any gap payments can be paid in cash or EFTPOS.

We are registered NDIS providers. The NDIS will use the following terms to describe the funding you can purchase for these services:

  • Improved daily living skills
  • Improved life skills

All of our Speech & Language Pathologists are registered with  the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
