Get active and mindful with our Healthy Mind & Body Programs. Participate at your own pace in activities designed to be fun, enjoyable and active. The Program is designed to help you maintain and improve your physical health as well as your mental health. Come along and learn how to harness those feel good endorphins and enjoy the psychological and physical benefits of being active.
It is very empowering to take responsibility for your own health and well-being. Join our program to learn tangible skills and routines that enhance your quality of life. Learn tools to manage and reduce stress through activities designed to holistically encompass mind, body and spirit.
Healthy Mind & Body is a self-faced 12 week program which has been split in to 2 levels.
Work on building your physical capacity and fitness, and build positive self esteem within a group working together.
Improve Physical and emotional health, healthy relationships, techniques to empower you in different life stages. You will also be introduced to different sports and recreation activities, to build your positive self image.
When: Level 1 Session – Wednesday 9:00am – 11:30am
Level 2 Session – Wednesday 12:30pm – 3:00pm
Where: CLS Skills Campus
Transport: $8.00 pickup and drop off (round trip)
Please inform staff if you require a wheelchair accessible vehicle
Cost: Support Cost – 1:3 ratio Group Based Centre (core 04_120_0136_6_1 $14.91 an hour)
Resource Cost – $20.00 for the 12 week program
